League Notes:

Standard League Notes:

  • Format: Coed 3-pitch Softball. Pitch to your own team. 9 player defensive line-up
  • Game Length: All games are 90 minutes in length, with a cap of 7 innings
  • Gender Requirements: Teams must have 3 males and 3 females on the field at all times
  • Length of Season: This season will consist of 6 games in 5 weeks, with a 1-2 double-headers for each team
  • Playoffs: Playoffs will likely take place on a single date on the final week of the season, but the exact format will depend on overall team numbers.
  • Exclusion Dates: No exclusion dates
  • Skill Level: Teams are expected to be at a Recreational skill level
  • Jerseys: Teams are not required to have team jerseys, but we recommend teams wear matching shirts
  • Officials: Every game will be self-officiated, meaning players call their own fouls, outs, etc.
  • Rules: Please review the league rules online: https://www.trsl.ca/rules.php
  • Equipment: Teams will be required to put down a $150 equipment deposit for this league, which covers a set of real bases. The deposit will be returned at the end of the season, when the bases are returned to the league. Balls will also be provided, but teams will need to supply their own gloves and bats
  • Other: All registration fees are subject to HST. Your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid in full

Skill Level Breakdown:

  • Recreational: Players have very basic skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Some teams and players may be playing in an organized Basketball League for the first time
  • Intermediate: Players have good skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Most teams and players have played in an organized Basketball League before
  • Competitive: Players have very strong skills (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting). Many teams and players


There are no refunds after the registration deadline.


Convenience fees on credit card payments. When processing a refund for any reason (subject to our refund policy), the convenience fee will not be refunded (as it is not refunded by the credit card processor company on our end).

Games will most likely take place at the following locations:

  • Withrow Park (Pape & Danforth)
  • McCleary Park (Carlaw Ave & Lakeshore Blvd)
  • Fenside Park (The 401 & The DVP)

We encourage team captains to let us know if they have any preference for specific diamonds or areas, and we will do our best to accommodate those preferences
